Our Story

From a Family Kitchen to Wilmington's Heart

It all started in the fall of 2014, when Marco and Elena Rossi decided to turn their lifelong passion for traditional Italian pizza into something the Wilmington community could enjoy every day. Armed with a treasured family recipe passed down three generations and a dream to create something truly special, they opened the first Seasons Pizza on Concord Pike.

The name "Seasons" was chosen deliberately. Just as nature changes with each season, bringing new colors, textures, and flavors, we rotate our menu to reflect the freshest ingredients available — spring herbs, summer tomatoes, autumn squash, and winter truffles. Every season brings a new reason to visit.

Today, we're proud to be a cornerstone of the Wilmington food community, with a team of passionate pizza artisans who share the same commitment to quality, creativity, and genuine hospitality that started this whole journey.

A Decade of Delicious Milestones

Every great story has pivotal moments. Here's how Seasons Pizza grew from a dream into Wilmington's most loved pizza destination.

2014

The Grand Opening

Marco and Elena Rossi open the first Seasons Pizza on Concord Pike, Wilmington, with a simple menu of 8 handcrafted pizzas and 15 eager customers on day one. The stone oven is lit for the very first time.

2016

Best Pizza in Delaware Award

Just two years in, Seasons Pizza is honored with the "Best Pizza in Delaware" award by the Delaware Food & Wine Society. The Spring Harvest pizza becomes a regional sensation overnight.

2018

Team Expansion & Catering Launch

We grow our team to 25 dedicated staff members and launch our catering division, bringing Seasons Pizza flavors to weddings, corporate events, and community gatherings across the Tri-State area.

2020

Community Through Adversity

During the global pandemic, Seasons Pizza pivots to contactless delivery and donates over 2,000 free pizzas to frontline healthcare workers at Christiana Hospital, reinforcing our deep community commitment.

2022

Online Ordering & 25K Customers

We launch our online ordering platform, making it easier than ever to enjoy Seasons Pizza at home. We celebrate serving our 25,000th customer with a special anniversary menu inspired by all four seasons.

2024

A Decade of Flavor & Growth

Celebrating 10 incredible years, we renovate our flagship location, introduce a plant-based menu series, and look ahead to bringing the Seasons Pizza experience to new communities in the years to come.
